About this place

Principal dentist Dr Michael Siderides founded Shire Smiles and practises alongside dentist Dr Grace Kwon and oral health therapist Shereen Pillay. Treatment also takes in check-ups and cleans, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy and teeth whitening, along with emergency dental care and sleep dentistry under sedation.

Appointments are made online or by phone, and the line opens at 7am. Scans and x-rays are talked through on screen, with intraoral scanning and digital x-ray in the surgery. There’s a drink when you arrive and entertainment in the chair, Disney+ and Netflix included for younger patients. The kids check, for under-12s, includes an orthodontic check and oral hygiene instruction as well as a clean and fluoride.
