About this place

Sweet Mayhem is a cake shop started by Maria Mayhew. Baking starts in the early hours, with savouries alongside the sweets. The idea was a spot in the Shire for a plain slice of cake as much as for a cake that marks a big occasion.

Maria qualified as a pastry chef through a mature-age apprenticeship and spent eight years in the industry before opening here. Cake and catering orders go through the form on the website for pickup from the shop.
