We built this page. We didn't ask first.

Shiremade is made by a small studio here in the Shire. We put this page together out of what's already public. Nobody asked us to, and nobody's paying for it. Being listed is free and always will be.

Is that right? Hours and phone are what we get wrong most. If something's off, tell us in the box below and we'll fix it.
Where the reply goes. Your note is saved as our record and emailed to Johnny through Brevo, the service we use to send it. It isn't added to any contact list or mailing list.
Up to three, a sentence or two each, copied word for word from a review, a card or a message. Put the name they'd like under each one, and check with them first. Your page will say you chose them, and any quote comes down if you or they ask.
On the post, tap the three dots, then Copy link, and paste it here. It stays yours, and we credit it to you.

About this place

Sydney Wildflower Nursery is a specialist native plant nursery. It grew from the nursery John and Penny Rose started in the early 1970s, and their son David owns it now.

New plants come in every week, from wattles and banksias to waratahs and grass trees. The stock list is online, and plants not in stock can be special-ordered with at least two to four weeks’ notice. The nursery will deliver, plant out and maintain gardens, or post plants to NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia. Workshops also cover propagation, native bees and waterwise gardens. Bring your own box or bags for the trip home.
