About this place
Jannali Coffeestation is a coffee shop opened by a founder who was born in a village of 55 people in Sivas, Turkey. He saw the empty shop from the train, got off at Jannali station to ask about the lease, and made it a café when the council wouldn’t allow the kebab shop he had in mind. He asks his staff to treat the people who come in as visitors, not customers.
The menu leans Turkish. There’s ham and cheese on Turkish toast, smashed avocado with Turkish pepperoni, and baklava beside the Portuguese tarts and banana bread. Iced lattes and milkshakes are on the drinks list too.
