About this place
Rocksalt is a modern Australian restaurant owned by the Rix and Filetti families. Aron Filetti is head chef and Vanessa Filetti runs the front of house; the pair have run it together for more than ten years.
Entrées also take in kingfish sashimi and Japanese scallops in the half shell, and the oysters come natural, Kilpatrick or mornay. The kangaroo fillet is served with beetroot marmalade; other mains include saltwater barramundi on lemon risotto and a green harissa lamb shoulder, and there’s a 500g Jack’s Creek sirloin or a seafood platter with half a lobster to share between two. There’s a kids menu. Up to ten can book online; bigger groups email the functions team.
