About this place

Alphabet St is a restaurant and bar serving modern Asian food, with its door on Surf Lane. It was the Natale Group’s first restaurant, and it’s fully licensed.

The food leaves the kitchen as each dish is ready, so the table orders everything in one go. Start with miang on betel leaf, Hiramasa kingfish sashimi or five spice squid, then dumplings, from barramundi with chilli oil to tapioca with sweet pork, and bao with crispy fried chicken. Bigger plates run to a three flavoured crispy whole fish, massaman curry with lamb shank, crispy pork belly and Auntie’s lobster pad Thai. Groups of eight or more go on a set menu.
